I'm not going to be writing a blog everyday just for further reference, however i'll probably create one where it's optional to read it or not. Today I woke up with a migrane and queasy. It feels like I can't get away from feeling bad. My friends are distant and I don't feel as if i can talk to anyone at the moment But you gotta keep your chin up - it'll all get better : ) x

In the last few days I have been cooking up a storm - making quiche, chocolate pudding, roasted tomatoes with oregano. Cooking is something I always did and LOVE IT. I cannot believe how much I have missed doing cooking, how happy it makes me and how fabulously therapeutic cooking can be........ For me food is so much more than just food - it is a way to express yourself, to share love and to connect with those you love. One of my fav things is to cook with Dan and do we cook up a storm.

Hi All , Just to let you know my precious mum passed away on the 14th of July. Thank you for all your most beautiful comments and I wish you all the best of luck. Tough decision and one he has not yet made.

Me again, so I'm due for my 2nd round of ABVD chemo on Wednesday. My oncologist gave me 2 days worth of Kytral ( an anti nausea drug) but I was admitted on the 3rd day for some fluids and more medication. I'm guessing I need at least 5 days worth. I guess trial and error. So far my experience has been completely different to what I thought it would be. For the better part of this week I have been fine in a sense, I have a few aches and pains most still from the major surgery I had but I've also noticed that my back and neck hurt more than my usual back pain I get.

Hi All, Next week will be my final chemo. I am looking forward to being able to know that as I begin to feel better I will know that there is no more getting to the feeling good stage and having to go back to square one again. This time I will be feeling better and better and eventually back to normal, which I can't even remember anymore, and taste, oh yes, to have normal taste instead of the metallic dragged through the sewer taste. Even chocolate tastes foul.
