People keep telling me that there is hard road ahead - well people it's pretty crap already , my Dad has stage 4 lung cancer with secondary tumors in his brain and as of last Friday they think that there is cancer spreading into his bones. I am finding it hard to discuss things that aren't clinical with most people i know because i don't know if they will understand, so looking around today and found these wonderful blogs from great people who have been there done this and found myself reading through and gaining inspiration from some and heart break from others.

I'm barely keeping my eyes open right now but I want to post this before they close completely and the light goes off in my brain. I am tired because I have started full time work again. It's the first time I have had a Monday to Friday working week for three years. After ten months of treatment in 2007 I did start back two days a week, then up to three after a few months. That went on until the other week when I decided I had some things to gain by giving up my Tuesday and Friday off each week. What on earth was I thinking? Goodnight.

what a mess we saw yesterday at Crawford House. the storm really took its toll on the place with damage all around the grounds and peoples car's were a real mess. just want to let you all know that we are thinking of you all. cheers Linda
